The Bride's Story:
We already talked about getting engaged, but I didn’t think
Raj was going to propose within two weeks of talking about it! He bought a tiny
messenger bag for my dog and wrote love notes sending my dog to me. He did this
three times! Then finally, my dog Sammy, had a box in the bag. It was empty,
but Raj came out of the corner and knelt down. The rest, as they say, is
history.
We had two ceremonies. The first was a Hindu Ceremony. It
was beautiful and colorful. Our priest did a really good job of explaining the
traditions and rituals. The second ceremony was the Christian Ceremony. It was
very serene and beautiful. The pastor did an excellent job guiding us and
making sure we say the right things. Our reception was awesome. All of the
guests were on the floor dancing. Even my dad did an impromptu karaoke.
